How to Incorporate Superfoods Into Your Busy Summer Schedule

Summer is a busy time of the year — perhaps even more so than the holidays. The kids are out of school and the beach or pool beckons you to enjoy its cooling benefits. It can be easy to let your diet slip and fall into some unhealthy eating habits. Use the tips below to incorporate some healthy superfoods into your summer diet.

Start the Morning Off Right

Don’t skimp on your nutrition first thing in the morning. Whip up a quick and nutritious smoothie with lots of blueberries, strawberries and bananas. Add in your favorite milk and a generous dollop of Greek yogurt, whirl until smooth and you have a delicious smoothie packed with superfood nutrition.

Toss on a few handfuls of berries for a deliciously sweet and savory lunch that’s tasty and nutritious.
